Elephant makes lifting beam in the mono-bar version, lifting spreader beam in H and X shaped, and with fixed and adjustable hooks to facilitate lifting and moving even distinctive loads.
The lifting beam are made out of laminated sections in structural, highly stress-proof steel, suitable for use with any type of crane.
They differ in shape and size, capacity and number of connectors; for most cases, they are designed to measure, on the basis of the specific requirements of the client.
These under-hook accessories have no capacity limit and are used to multiply the gripping points for a particular load. Here are the types of sling bars produced by Elephant.
There are lifting sling bars with an upper hook for connection to the crane hook and two lower hooks, which can be fixed or adjustable according to requirements. They have no capacity limits and can therefore be made according to requirements Furthermore, they are supplied with swivelling shackles and hook for suspension of the load. By request, they can be equipped with slings, belts and chains.
With H beam lifting sling bars, the structure is made up of a main beam with two adjustable head beams along the main beam; these therefore allow for having 4 fixed or adjustable hooking points to adapt to the requirements of the lift.
The X beamed lifting sling bars have a structure made up of four arms with fixed hook points at the extremities of the beams. This particular configuration is suitable for lifting big-bags, but also for hauling boats or other products with the adjustable or telescopic versions.
The lifting beams usually have only one upper hook, but it is possible to request adjustable lifting beams with two or more hooks for use with chains or bridge cranes with double hoists.
